Sally has completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology (Honours). She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists and holds full general registration with APHRA. Previously Sally has worked as an assessment psychologist for ADF personnel selection, and she has experience with linguistically/culturally diverse populations from her time working with people in immigration detention. In addition she has many years experience undertaking EAP counselling and formal workplace referrals.
Sally is a warm and engaging practitioner who undertakes a person centered style of therapy utilising a mix of treatment modalities including but not limited to CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), and motivational interviewing. Sally undertakes short term solution focused interventions. Sally has a Cert IV in Telephone Counselling and extensive experience conducting counselling over the phone, a modality often utilized by clients in remote locales or clients that are more comfortable in a non face to face session.
Sally completed an APS Practise Certificate in Sleep Psychology in 2019
Sally does NOT provide services to children under 16 years and she does NOT provide couples counselling.
